Aug 29 2011 We survived hurricane Irene. Slight damage with the peaches from rubbing on the limbs in the wind. Apples fared fine with only a few trees broke off in the orchard. Our open house was a great success on Saturday.
August 17 2011 Picked Shiro plums today.
August 16 2011 Started picking late today due to rain over night. Picking second pick on early red haven peach and first pick on Shiro plums. Geoff

August 11 2011. Today is another wet day. So far this has been a very interesting harvest year. I hope to pick this afternoon if the wet weather stops. Our market has a great selection of fruits and vegetables.
